THE ULITMATE "POUNCE" KENNY CHESNEY. ALL I WANT TO ASK HIM FOR IS A PHOTO WITH MY DR. BRAD CHESNEY. I FOUND DR. CHESNEY- YES, THIS IS CRAZY, BUT IT WORKED!- BECAUSE I HAD READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT KENNY THE DAY BEFORE I LOOKED IN THE PHONE BOOK FOR A DR. WHEN I SAW THE NAME, I SAID, WHY NOT? AND GIGGLED. TURNED OUT DR. CHESNEY IS AN AWARD WINNING DR. FOR EXCELLENCE. WHILE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL, COUNTRY MUSIC FAN THAT I AM, I ASKED HIM IF THE WAS RELATED TO KENNY. HE SAID, "NO BUT I WON'T MIND HAVING MY PHOTO WITH HIM TO HANG IN MY OFFICE." AT THAT MOMENT I DECIDED TO TRY TO MAKE HIS WISH COME TRUE, HE HAD AFTER ALL SAVED MY LIFE. SHORTLY AFTER THAT I PLANNED AND HAD THE BENEFIT, "POUNCED" ON ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE, BUT STILL NO KENNY. IT MAY TAKE YEARS, BUT I'LL KEEP TRYIN' TILL ONE OF US DIES. (NOTE TO KENNY IF HE EVER SEE'S MY WEBSITE- PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR AND STRAWBERRIES ON TOP?!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I haven't got to meet Tim yet, but did get to meet his manager at the red carpet opening of "Friday Night Lights" in Franklin. I thought it was fitting that his would be the first auction item I received. His song, "Live Like You Were Dying" was part of the magic that helped me put the party together. A little inspiration you might say. You never know what you can do until you try. Do it all if you can.

I was at HECHT's in
Greenhills mall shopping with Mom and Granny when I heard over the intercom that somebody was signing autograph's down stairs. I tore out sending Mom after the camera. As soon as I got in line, (Drew Bennett was there.), the Mascot saw me, he jumped straight up and pointed at me, then he came flying toward me, then past me! Only to grab my wheelchair and push me straight to the front of the line! I was having so much fun I forgot to ask for my photo with Drew. He gave an auction item right then! Thanks Drew!!!

I met Trace Adkins at the taping of "Songs About Me". I had gone to the "Parade of Pennies" benefit and won a chance to be in the video. My name was the first name they called. It was great! The next time I met Trace was at the release at Tower Records. I had 3 things I wanted him to sign, his manager said he could only sign 1. While I got my photo with him, I was talking my head off, and he signed all 3 things anyway. Thanks Trace!!! Your photo is on my "Wall of Fame".

Sugarland I met at the very first Wolf Pack free concert series. They were great!

I've met Ben several times. The first was at the grand opening of his store over by Opryland. He's a hoot! The next time was at the station, then again at Duke's Feast this past summer.

This was at the CMA awards, either '88 or '89, I wanted to go and didn't have a ticket, so I slipped me, Mom, her boyfriend Randy, and my little brother Hanson in the back door! I saw Dolly again at Sam's club in Franklin September 14, 2004. The day before I had been praying really hard about who I should try to contact first about my ideas for the party. As soon as I was done it came on the radio that she was going to be there. September 13th was the day the party was actually born, God had given me the perfect answer. Mom used to fix her hair, and she remembered me, she gave me all the encouragement I needed to propel me forward with my project. I didn't get a photo because I didn't have a camera. She was the first person I "pounced" on. Thanks Dolly!!!

The first time I really listened to this song, I was waiting outside of Vanderbilt Stallworth for my first therapy visit. It made the hair raise up on my arms. I knew that's what I wanted to do, that night the party idea came to mind. I didn't know at that time that it would really happen.

Met them in Arcadia Florida in 2003, at the Darryl Worley concert. They gave me one of their "Good Little Girls" T-shirts. I had an extra "Remember" T-shirt, so I gave it to them.

Wal-Mart parking lot in Hendersonville TN, at "Christmas for Kids" fund raiser. She was so nice to come out of her bus that night to say hello. It was so cold that on my way home it was snowing.

DIERKS BENTLEY

I met Dierks at the Today show when they visited Nashville Spring of 2005. I was sick as a dog, but wanted to try to see Kenny, so I went anyway. I didn't know Dierks was going to be there and when he walked over to me, and I got my photo with him I never told him about the benefit. All I can say is, I was sick. I have been kicking myself in the butt since!! Oh well, this is Nashville, you never know who you are going to run into!!

PAT GREEN

Wildhorse Saloon, Nashville TN (2). The first time I saw him live, he gave me his guitar strap draped over his arm from the stage at the end of the show. The next time I was better prepared and wrote him a note using his song titles for the words about the benefit, it earned me a photo with him!!

The first time I met Darryl was in Arcadia FL. I gave him one of my Remember and be ready T-shirts.

The next time was at the Trap, Nashville TN. He let me sit in his lap to get this photo. I was dared to ask him! So I did, and he said Yes.
